"As a professional Illustrator, I am always looking for products and supplies that can compliment my art style. Whether it's for reformatting portfolios to be sent out to clients or just comps that I need to use for design placement, it's imperative that my images maintain a very crisp and professional look.  LaboJET™ Glare free photo Inkjet film, printed at 600 to 1200 dpi has been superb for this. The colors seem to be as close to exactly as what I envision when I am creating digital files. No other product that I have experimented with has been as rewarding as LaboJET™film. The inks hold true with no bleeding or muddying of colors. Blacks are black and even the very difficult colors such as orange and reds hold true on the film.  I have had many compliments as well as inquiries from Art Directors and Editors as to what I am printing my images on. They've raved about the look of the images so, I have to tip my hat to the LaboJET™ film people for creating a wonderful product that enhances what I do."
 

1)       Inkjet receiver layer – This coated layer is designed to immediately absorb the droplets of ink, as they are applied by the inkjet printer’s printing heads.  This specially formulated layer has been tested with various inkjet printers and inkjet inks, and has been found suitable for all types tested.  LaboJET™ is compatible with standard “dye base” inkjet inks, and also “pigment base”, or “archival” type inkjet inks.  

2)       Bonding layer is used to ensure the inkjet receiver layer, a water-based latex slurry, properly adheres to the PET film.

3)       Tough white PET film is a “micro-voided” PET film, with a reduced density, that internally reflects light, to help make images even more vivid.  PET film, long used for magnetic recording tapes, X-Ray films, floppy discs, and soda bottles, is well known for it’s stability in extreme environmental conditions.  PET film base sheets avoid ‘curl’, shrinkage, and deterioration.  In addition, rodents and insects are not attracted to eat PET film.
