Labo has opened its new facility in Omura city, Nagasaki.

Group, parent company of Yasui Seiki Co. (USA),
Bloomington, IN, opened a third Coating Research Laboratory in October in Omura,
Japan. The new facility focuses on development of safe drying technologies for
thick ceramic tape, as well as ink-jet media and machine development. The Omura
lab features a 29-inch-wide coater, equipped with three zones of
Yasui’s counterflow drying,
then three zones of step air-bar dryers. The coater also incorporates both Micro
Gravure™ and slot die heads. A second line is being designed with Micro Gravure,
slot die, knife, applicator box and dip methods.
