YASUI SEIKI COATING APPLICATIONS – Microgravure™
1 to 40 microns wet thickness, with occasional experiences to 0.5 micron and 80
microns. Our patented " Microgravure™" uses small diameter gravure rolls of
Ø20mm - Ø50mm. These small rolls cause a much smaller wet contact area than
conventional gravure rolls of 150mm to 300mm diameter. This provides a small
stable coating 'bead' which combined with reverse application achieves smooth
and uniform coated layers. " Microgravure™ " coating can provide layers from
0.007μ to 40μ making it applicable to electronics, optical films, LCD
components, imaging and similar materials.
