YASUI SEIKI COATING APPLICATIONS – Microgravure™

1 to 40 microns wet thickness, with occasional experiences to 0.5 micron and 80 microns. Our patented "Microgravure™" uses small diameter gravure rolls of Ø20mm - Ø50mm. These small rolls cause a much smaller wet contact area than conventional gravure rolls of 150mm to 300mm diameter. This provides a small stable coating 'bead' which combined with reverse application achieves smooth and uniform coated layers. "Microgravure™" coating can provide layers from 0.007μ to 40μ making it applicable to electronics, optical films, LCD components, imaging and similar materials.

Coating onto webs from 1.6 micron (6 gauge) PET to 350 micron (1400 ga.) PET, foils, paper, glass felts, cloth, Kapton®, other specialty films, PP, PE, etc.
